The ONCE Invincible Human …

Once there was a being called human;
Who aspired to become so strong as not to be defeated by anyone …

Who built supersonic jets to fly far and wide;
But was brought to halt by a virus which travelled only a few feet with pride …

Who designed bombs to destroy flourishing cities in no time;
But was destroyed by a virus which got killed by soap and alcohol overtime …

Built such structures as could be seen from the moon;
But was demolished by a virus which needed a microscope even to be known …

Estimated the birth and death of heavenly stars;
But overlooked the growth of virus in its own labs …

Who developed robots which ran on Mars with stride;
But lost the race to a virus with no legs or sight …

Who wanted to be the master of both living and dead;
But became slave to a virus which was neither living nor dead …

The once invincible man brought down to his knees;
By an invisible virus which spread just by a breeze …

Hopes shattered, economies slumped and graveyards filled;
Yet no one has an idea when this virus will get finally killed …

With all humanity in desperate fright;
Human has once again started looking to God for some respite …

It is time now that humans correct their misdeed;
Before all spirits are forced to accede …
