Leaving behind millions of unfulfilled promises and dreams .. Leaving behind wailing and helpless families .. The warriors themselves fought bravely against their deadly fate... Before finally calling it quit on God's decided time and date ..
We have now lost count of such young warriors whom we have lost to this pandemic... Whom we took for guaranteed as a part of our daily lives .. Whom we knew as well as we know ourselves .. Whom we had never thought would suddenly get separated from us ..
All blessings and prayers, now seem to be lost in despair ...
With blank minds and frozen emotions,
Our eyes search for those out in the open whom we know do not exist anymore..
Time and again our heart waits for those whom we know will not appear once more ..
It is scary to comprehend how many families would be destroyed .. How many dreams and careers would be shattered ... who all would remain with us Or whose turn is it next .. Before this ravaging pandemic ends ... "
